Antistatic rubber fresh gas tubing

Description: Black rubber for the tubing is impregnated with sufficient minute carbon particles to render it minimally electrically conductive; just sufficient to comply with 'antistatic'regulations. The linear yellow stripe confirms compliance. This was a requirement while flammable anaesthetics, notably diethyl ether and cyclopropane, were in use. All rubber components used in the anaesthetic breathing system had to comply.
