Dose limited Syringe in Leatherette case

The syringe is unusual in that the glass barrel is threaded at both ends but not calibrated, The plunger has bidirectional leather flanges and the shaft of the plunger is calibrated and threaded. Mounted on this thread is an adjustable threaded stop flange. The nozzle of the syringe is threaded for a sealing cap but has no taper.

The leatherette covered wooden case is badly damaged and carries no annotation, either inside or out.

This syringe (capacity approximately 2ml) was possibly preloaded with a medicinal ointment.
