Magill Nasal Connector Size '00'x 2

Accession #: 2009108

Description: Designed by Sir Ivan Magill, these connectors are attached to a rubber nasal endotracheal tube which is cut to an appropriate length before being inserted through a nostril and down through the pharynx and larynx into the trachea. The connector is taped to the face over a small pad and the large end is connected to the anaesthetic breathing breathing system by a larger rubber connector that is taped to the forehead. The acute angle of the curve is anatomically correct for this application and is more appropriate that many connectors of later design.
