Description: Metallic painted hinged metal container with clasp, lined with blue satin and velvet. Contains two ampoules of morphine solution and a cork-stoppered brown glass bottle of Opoidine (standardised alkaloids of opium) as advocated by T E Hammond of Cardiff for the treatment of wound shock (BMJ(1940) 5 October p468).
