Description: This Pill roller (24 channel) is of good quality brass metalware mounted on a rough quality timber frame. In use, the dispenser would make up a paste of drug and appropriate filler in a volume equal to that of the number of pills to be made. This would then be rolled out by hand into a sausage shape that was approximately the same diameter of the finished pills and placed across the lower brass corrugated plate. The upper plate, brass side down and engaged in the brass rails, would then be passed over the sausage, The action would divide the sausage into the number of pills and roll them into approximately spherical shapes. The pills would then be dried, polished or coated as appropriate in a separate process.
