Plain 'Venule' blood sampling device
Accession #: 2010045
Description: This device is designed for the collection of samples of blood. The needle is encased in a glass sheath which presumably can be snapped off. This would cause any vacuum that might be sustained in the sampling tube to be lost. The tube is possibly heated before use. The needle would then be placed in the vein and blood would be aspirated as the tube cools (??) Do you know how it was used? please contact us.
Size 0 - capacity 8 ml. Originally supplied in packs of three with instructions for use.
