Anaesthetic breathing system with self inflating bellows
Accession #: 2009097
Description: This device is understood to have been used during anaesthesia for Electroconvulsive therapy in Abergele. The Heidbrink spill valve and the fresh gas inlet are both adjacent to the mask mount. A spring inside the moulded bellows allows it to accommodate spontaneous breathing by the patient and can also be used to manually assist ventilation. The rubber is antistatic black neoprene.
