Description: Manufactured by Medical & Industrial Equipment (M&IE) Ltd.The design includes a smoothbore, curved inner contour while including a port for sucking out secretions from the airway. This latter feature rather negates the improved flow resistance that a curved connector would otherwise offer.Both airway connections are for the connection of rubber components - rubber tracheal tube and rubber catheter mount. Similar to a Cobb connector but has no tapered tracheal tube connector, thus necessitating a complete set of sizes to match the various tracheal tube sizes used. The 90° angle is a compromise later used for oral and nasal tracheal tube insertions. Also known generally as a 'catheter mount'.
